Clarke Pollock was a long time official in the Ontario Hockey Association, working 20 years on the ice and was a nationally certified level 6 official. His son, Kevin, won an OHA provincial championship as a member of the Hanover Barons in 1991.
Moving into officiating like his father, Kevin worked in the OHA before being scouted and hired by the NHL 17 years ago, reaching his 1000th officiated NHL game in April 2015. Kevin is currently one of the top hockey officials in the NHL and International ranks.
Both Clarke and Kevin are well respected in hockey circles around the Kincardine area and continue to work closely with younger officials, developing them when they can as part of the OHA officiating alumni.
Hockey runs deep in the Pollock family. In the 1940’s Clarkes Uncle, Lloyd Pollock, established the Windsor Spitfires. He would later become the President of the Canadian Athletic Hockey Association (CAHA) as well as the OHA from 1961-1963.
The PJHL is proud to name this Division as the Pollock Division.
